Superseded Tricks

Honda are at it again with there superseding part's. Solenode holder for the CB750K0, K1 and K2 has been superseded with the solenode holder from the CB750F1. So how are you to hang the fuse box. Bloody crazy what they will think of next.
Next: 37246-300-009 has now been superseded by 37246-300-305. The problem with the superseded part is that is is the chrome clock dish for the speedo and has the hole for the trip knob. Not very good when they list it for the tacho.
Honda's reply to a email was: superseded by a newer version of the item with reason being quality improvement. Hold-on how is it quality improvement when it has a hole that should not be?

You've not been able to get the chrome back for the tacho for a long time strangely it doesn't really show on the bike.
