Somewhere in my garage I have loads of spare parts from  K0, K7 & F1 gearboxes. I do have a really nice spare  complete K2 gearbox (less than 15k, US import) but I am holding that for Rich (RGP750) until he has had chance to strip his K0 motor. If there are any gearbox parts of use to you in the spare gearboxes, you can have them for free if it help you out they are any good.

Cheers

Thanks AshimotoK0,
really appreciate your offer there,  eases my concerns  how I might find parts for one of these once I've started, and gives me confidence to tackle a rebuild again knowing there's a great community resource here...Once I'm into the engine and have an idea which gears I'm going to need i can always see if you have anything spare, and will be asking further advice no doubt!
Am slightly concerned what I might find...like condition of the camshaft, are these camshafts recondition-able? I know the crank was perfect when I rebuilt it with all new shells big and small ends. But the cam had a little bit of wear, it must be worn now.

thanks and merry Christmas
Ally

You will not know anything until you are in. This is the fun part of re-builds, every motor is different.

Nothing wrong with a Pandora box Bitsa. As long as you don't find Pandora inside ;)
