Hi Ash,

Very nice bike, will watch the restoration as it continues on the Honda Twins site.
I have attached a photo of my 1974 CB350 (UK model, not sure what K? it is) Bought it for £150 in 1983 sold it for £150 in 1986...sold the Yam too for £150.00...must be worth 10 times+ now!

Big Al
I had that version moroon I believe in the 250 and it was a k4.Was it the same for 350? :D
Loved it and later put a 350 motor in it and rode it around for quite some time as a 250 then flogged it.
Cheers

Yea still got the 1975 400/4 Pete... hoping to start using it again this coming summer. Attached is the bollocks Mark Williams wrote about it in Motorcycle Mechanics .So no I am not restoring a sandcast 750 (it's a dicast K0) , the 400/4 is not a K2 model as there never was one !!! and I never had a cash crisis... I was merely moving house. It should be Varnish Blue and I do have a nice VB tank for it now I bought off  Ian B, a member on here.

Yes both NOS guards were a tenner Ralph no kidding and a complete in it's box caliper inc pads was 12 quid. Bar switches were  really cheap too. I got the rear mudguard by quoting the part number to DS as he didn't know what one looked like...bet he does now! Queens Park Motors in Salford  were also good as I got NOS fork stanchions from them for a tenner each.
Good to be back on the forum BTW  :)   .. Ash

Yea that's me Pete and the rest of the article was true BTW. Sadly I felt a bit shitty for the 18 months after that article came out, due to work hassles,  so never got round to completing a book on the electrics...but one day hope to still do it as no excuses now as I really enjoy the work I do... Want to get the bikes finished though as I have all of the parts now.. just need loads of re-chroming doing in the New Year.
