If primitive man knew how ridiculous the beliefs of his descendants are viewed today i wonder if he would have gazed at the stars above and asked of himself the eternal questions - How? What? Why? frightened of the dark and afraid of the dangers beyond the safety of his cave, primitive man had no comprehension of the hostility of the night sky, nor of the workings of the natural world surrounding him. But, as his brain began to evolve, as well as asking the eternal questions, his searching mind began to query why it was that his crops failed? why disease wiped out his cattle and what caused the death of his children? The everyday horrors of his life required some reason... So he made some up.

He would have gazed through the showroom and asked of himself the eternal questions - How? What? Why? and, do i have enough money. Frightened of the dark and afraid of the dangers beyond the safety of his garage, primitive man had no comprehension of the hostility of the open road, nor of the workings of the internal combustion engine. But, as his brain began to evolve, as well as asking the eternal questions, his searching mind began to query why it was that his carbs flooded? why the clutch basket rattled? and what is that rattle in the bottom end .The everyday horrors of owning a SOHC  required some reason... Just to give you some idea of the original post my reply would of been:  Man created gods, deities, angels, prophets, devils,demons, ghouls and a myriad of supernatural and metaphysical entities with a corresponding myriad of beliefs and rituals moulded around them. Gods and monsters were created out of man's own ignorance and thus, sadly, mad-made religion was born.
