I'm going to keep posting my reg, I don't get many visitors.  :(
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Set/sit. Bought/brought FFS. Bloody Americans.

... and at her graduation parade at the Hendon college, there must have been over a thousand cops all in the same place at the same time.

Now that's scary!

I bet a lot of doughnuts were consumed that day   ;D ;D

Scary Julie.. but sounds to me that you won't suffer fools and can handle the situation if you can cope with A&E, though.
Best bit of kit  I have ever seen in a conservatory BTW  :)

Oh now that's a proper coffee table you've got there, even if it obscures the TV a bit  ::)

You've removed the chrome nuts on the end of the rockers. What's going on there?
They are in my box of bits to polish with my dremel. They are done actually, just not put back on yet  :)

Am I missing something ref keeping the 'plates off a public domain? Ie, Adsa, B&Q, Woolies car parks are a place to spot bikes too... cripes, you can even now get their frame numbers if so inclined. So why the concern over virtual domain versus car parks???

I think I agree with Lobo on this one, our plates, frame and engine numbers are nearly always in the public domain, it's just that in the virtual world, the scumbags can find a suitable clone from the comfort of their stolen leather armchairs.  Long before t'internet a friend had his bike ID stolen while he was at an auto jumble.  He knows that because it was the only place he went before it went bang and needed another 2 year restoration.  Even car VIN numbers are viewable through the corner of the front screen.

I do actually agree with what you are both saying. On a bike everything is totally visible. What happened this morning could have happened anywhere but the fact it was not local to me, I would assume, suggests no one has actually crawled over my bike to get the VIN numbers. I just feel safer with me not advertising my bike details on interned for all to see.
