That bike just needs a set of original mirrors to make it complete.

D.

Lol - well spotted. You know how it is, little bits that are not attached get lost over time. That makes it worth, oooo, 3.5K I'd say  ;)

What a gem of a bike, i totally understand why people keep them like this as non riders, where would bike museums be if all bikes were riden , you need to preserve history

110% agree Pete.... thank god there are folk about who do take the trouble to preserve such things. It's too simplistic to say, "they must be ridden"... to some this could only mean thrashed around a track... and then where would we be?
Best answer is surely to cosset a crated one, whilst maintaining a road going one. But for sure; its nice to see preserved examples. And in defence of such 'hoarders' I'd have to question whether they are indeed greedy / stupid individuals versus forward thinking passionate m/c folk... who due circumstances simply have to sell on. Musn't be too quick to judge etc.
Simon.

Anyone agree that the odo looks like reading 444 miles? Never used???

Ash that 444 is on the tripmeter, somebody twiddled the reset but didn't go all the way to zero

.. but I'm sure I can see a number 9 on the milometer just before the light reflection blurs out the rest!

If I sold mine for that much I might recoup some of my losses...

I'd like to hear it running.... To remind me what it sounded like on the day I picked up WGM508T from the dealer in September 1978 !

Mileage in the description states "1".
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Set/sit. Bought/brought FFS. Bloody Americans.

Is that particular bike actually for sale?
It looks like an ad for their restoration service to me.
