You are right according to the parts book 750 was 3.25 front and 4.00 rear the 500 was 3.25 bfront and 3.50 rear. The Guiness must have attacked the grey cells again, i always thought the 750 was bigger on both but perhaps we just fitted bigger!!
Rims are stamped with width so should be easy for the 750 owners to check. It may be that they stayed unchanged until the F1/F2 when the Comstars were fitted, those were certainly wider than the spoked versions.Considering how anal the K0 owners are about DID rims I'm surprised one of them hasn't been on to tell us the exact rim size.
