A little progress picked the frame up a couple of days ago they cut the tube out completely and replaced it with new.They quoted possibly £200+ and then phoned me back four hours later saying it was easier than expected and charged me £160  :) So one happy bunny
Photos to follow when I find the time to go out into the garage.

It crazed it a little but it doesn't matter as I was planning to paint it anyway.
Just got to find the time to paint it now.  ::)

Did they replace the cross member that the stand brackets are welded to ? The last one i did we used a solid metal bar so it would not bend again.

Yep all new the old one was wafer thin I think its a  hollow tube though.

Took my k0 frame to motoliner on Friday to have the stand tube sorted,i think the "fat yank" must have been
huge judging by the bend in the tube.
They have a really bad frame from someone in Aberdeen (any one on here) they were
happy to have mine there for reference as the other one has been cut and shut. and looks
odd somewhere.
Didn't get a quote just seem nice Guys and said "we don't rob anyone you will be happy" so
i'll let you know when it comes back.
