Does anyone have any information about pilot airscrew operation of my 78 CB750F2? My engine runs rich on idle unless the screws are turned almost all the way in (ie about half turn out from fully home) I have noticed that there should be a small washer and an O ring on top of the spring according to my Haynes manual cutaway drawing but these are not present on my carbs. Does anybody know what they do and what would be the result of not having them? Thanks. (For reference see item 21 on attached drawing.)
