Just seen the photograph, now it makes sense!

The K3-K4-K5 (American model) have some unique parts, double check before ordering

Good luck with the project

Alan

I have a front fender if you need one, it's not mint and has a scrape at the front but it is free if you want to collect it from poulton.

I don't know whether the "I accidently bought it" would work on my wife, but spose it's worth a try.

In my case......I NEVER tell my Missus any lies.........for the same reason that I don't play cards for money - my face gives everything away......so when I told her that I had 'accidentally' bought this bike, she had no reason not to believe me. Honest......and no.......I won't lend her out to any Forum members!

Could be better, ask Tiny Tim.
His wife went out and bought him a 400/4 he had been looking at, and surprised him with it.
Still trying to get my head round that one. My Mrs didn't even buy me a birthday present >:(

No Birthday pressie, poor you 😃😃😃😃😃 It does work the other way round for some of us. I was given a brand new front mudguard for my 400/4 for my birthday. I may be strange but it was one of the best pressies I have ever been given, it saved me buying one 😃😃😃😃😃

My missus tagged along for the ride when I went to Leicestershire to pick up 400 quids worth of chroming. I told her not to come inside with me as she suffers from bad asthma and I gave her the tale that there would be nasty fumes in there, which could trigger an attack but another reason  was so that  she didn't see me handing over the readies  ;D :-[.  I got inside and had a bit of crack with the owner and apologized to the missus when I got outside about it taking so long. I got "Don't worry about it I got a bit bored waiting so I went online on my phone and booked us a cruise"  So that one backfired on me.
