New chap in Japan
« on: August 31, 2015, 10:58:05 AM »
Greetings all,
I'm a Brit living in a beautiful place called Itoshima in south Japan.
I came late to bikes and the learning curve is indeed steep, so I apologise in advance for any really dumb questions.
I was  introduced by AshimotoK0, and look forward to learning and sharing. I presently have two bikes, a 2006 Honda Ape 50cc related to the Monkey and Gorilla (funny that), and a Honda 1971/2 CB350. I'd love to hear if any forum members are in Japan, the riding is amazing here.

But I do have a real soft spot for a BMW R27 my birth year - whoops shouldn't have said that here.

So glad you have joined us on here Chris. For me this  is the best biking forum for advice / friendly banter. You have the model of CB350K twin, we never had officially sold  in the UK, we got the horrible G5 engined one instead with its dodgy top end. Plus that's  fun 'Ape ' too. Member 'orcadian' on here (another 'ull lad originally) owned a GB250 Clubman, like you used to own (another model not sold here).

Not into scooters at all but love this little fella. Have you ever seen one over there?
