I've been amassing parts quite rapidly for my CB550 project and in my quest to find the weird, wonderful and great value items I found this charming set of fairings and tail piece in Ireland. It was buried deep in a classified ad along with vintage tractor parts. I had to have it!
The guy I bought it off removed it from a 400/4 race bike over 20 years ago, has since refurbished the 400/4 and left the fairings in his loft since. I'd love more information on it so I put it to the knowledgeable floor!
Has anyone any opinions (positive and negative welcome)? What is it? Who makes it? Does the RR on the nose cone signify someone special? Most importantly will it fit my 550?
