Advice please

I am thinking of using Zinc plated spokes with stainless ferrels on the re chromed rim . Any views?

Are the spokes for the K series the same as the ones for the F1?

Cheers

Hi Keith as the spokes on my F1 and two previous Honda 750's went rusty I opted for stainless spokes on my F1 when the wheels were rebuilt, probably not for the purists though.

I just bought new after sale spokes but they didn't fit on that KO rim.

So that's what I did on my current project: re- zink plated the old spokes on a re-chromed rim and mounted with new yellow nipples.

cheers, Uli

Hi Keith, the spokes and rims were provided by the chap who did the rebuild for me, he's retired so don't think he is in the business anymore sadly.

I would say zink plate the correct, genuine finish (?)
cheers, Uli
