Exhaust pipes DIY
« on: January 16, 2016, 11:10:03 PM »
Hello,
I was looking to buy a 4-2 or 4-4 to replace my 4-1 exhaust.
Price is a huge obstacle so I started to think of doing it by myself.
I have found a few videos on YouTube like this https://youtu.be/v8mMQbEkr8w.
My question is what materials work best and what size tubing is needed (inner and outer diameter).
Has anyone else attempted this before?

Thanks

I was thinking of using that flexible exhaust pipe - that's the stuff that looks like a washing machine drain hose.   The plan was to have my Katana 650 with 400four looking headers.. I didn't bother after but that's was I was thinking of.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

How do mate, did you ever get those diameters in the end? Hope so, as I am trying to sort out the same info before attempting a stainless set of drag pipes for my chop. If you did, would you be willing to pass them on to me?

How do. Nice to see the finished build. Did you build the exhausts yourself in the end? If so, do you remember the diameters inner and outer of the pipe you used? I am about to embark on building a stainless system for my K7 and need to buy the right size bends and pipe. Any help in that wpuld be greatly appreciated.
