PD carbs
« on: January 17, 2016, 10:58:48 PM »
Hi all,

I'm going to be fitting cone filters and a non stock exhaust to my 1978 F2 sohc, so will have to re-jet, because i dont know what size I need and there will be some swearing and messing, can any one point me in the direction of a Uk supplier of a jetting kit  with several sizes in?

Any tips or tricks would come in handy.

thanks again

You can get the jets from NRP Manchester Phone 0161 832 8646 [I think its Andy]
The only problem is this guy has not got much patience especially if you are not sure of exactly what you want, I found him quite ignorant, but eventually I got what I wanted.

Good Luck

Cheers buddy. I'll check them out.

Has anybody used the sigma 6 jetting kit?

Thanks. Steve.

Hi all,

Has anyone got a picture of the way the choke springs locate. I'm a bit stuck with it. Instructions or picture explosions would also be a help. I've used a Haynes manual but the pics especially for the 1978 f2 are shocking.

Thanks. Steve.

Hi all,
Got to the bottom of it. The small choke spring needs to loop round on its self to give it the tension to move the 3 & 4 butterflies. Sorted
Hope this helps others.
Steve.
