CB750 F1 Fork Length
« on: April 15, 2016, 04:31:52 PM »
Looking at my forks on my latest F1 restoration I see they are lightly pitted.

Philpotts will rechrome and grind for £175 all in but I wanted to make sure I have the correct stanchions.

The ones that came were in bits and measure approx 578 mm long.

I see that the DS ones are £94 inc vat each for repro.

Does anyone have the factory spec for length or experience of the repro ones?

I replaced one of mine with a DS one about 10 years ago and it's still fine, not as shiny as the original though.

Cheers
