Wow. did your garage leak?
If the frame has not rotted through then that will save lots of hassle, you might be lucky with the engine and it frees up, i would imagine the bores will need re boring it dont take much to pit the metal and it is probably where it is seized as well
Forks and wheels are an easy restore
all other parts are easy to find through the usual channels, so good luck to you and crack on and keep enthusiastic

The garage only leaks when it rains. Most of the damage was done in the early years of "storage", but it hasn't degraded much in the last 10 years. A quick whizz round with a spanner demonstrated that the small sample of fastenings I tried weren't seized, so fingers crossed  ;)

looks a lot of work, my health is getting better and feel the need to finish mine off, i have plenty of photos of my work so far so will start another thread soon.

Got my adi part 3 ( driving instructor ) coming up soon as require a new career.

Mike I'm an ADI 11 years and I remember my part 3 as I had to do 2 to pass! good luck with it.
Love the 500 and 550 have a 500 called Lazarus under restoration
