Bloody hell I wish I'd known that. That would of been a great buy. Thanks buddy. Hey steve, i will have to go and have a look what the tyres are, the bike got put into storage and never got finished, it has sat around for about 4 years now still just as i left it, i keep thinking of getting the project going again,or i might stick it on ebay, anyway i will look at tyres tomorrow

Also have you a link for the felt and the pivot thrust bushes, can't see them anywhere?

Hi all, only me again,
I've just cleaned my rear swingarm ready for powder coating and I know one of the bushes needs replacing so was going to do both but I've just seen that I'm missing the pivot thrust bush (don't remember removing it) and one of the rear fork felt rings is in a bad way, can anyone tell me where I can get these parts and any tips on removing the old ones.

Easiest way to find them is to get a copy of the parts list for the F2 from here: http://www.sohc.co.uk/index.php/topic,8884.0.html.
You can then search by part number on DS site or anywhere else.
Get the F1 list too and you will be able to check P/Ns to see if parts are common to both models.

Hi all, firstly I would like to say a big thank you to all who replied to my last post and gave me great advice on removing the engine. Did it tonight and it went a dream. thanks.
I need to get two new shocks and the bushes that go into the swingarm, do any of you know where I can get the bushes from or the part number, and has anyone brought the shocks that are on ebay for my 78 f2 £59.99? they seems like a good buy.
