Does anyone know of a supplier of Vitron tipped float valves?

Someone had this conversation on another forum a few weeks ago and the outcome was that no one makes rubber tipped float valves for any of the SOHC/4 range of Keihin carbs. Personally I have never seen any.

PD carbs have rubber tipped needles. I had one rubber tipped needle in my bank of 4 627B carbs so they seem to be interchangeable.

I would have thought they were much of a muchness.
I don't see many reasons why there wouldn't be a certain amount of interchangeability.

Lengths do vary by up to 1.5mm which buggers up float heights, i bought a set of 4 from Silvers for the CBX550 i had and it took me a while to figure out why 1 cylinder wouldnt run, needle too long and those floats are not adjustable!
