Not on a Honda, but I have a Delkavic on my Suzuki GS1000 and it runs well. Only thing I would say, I picked the system with the largest silencer and it is still pretty loud. Hate to think what the shorty pipe is like for volume, I would guess illegal.

Shorty pipe is fine... not too loud at all, you can remove the baffle if you want loud. Looks neater than the big pipe in my opinion... 8)

That's a cracking looking bike Rob, deserves a 4 into 4 if you can afford the silly asking price.

Thanks for the compliment Roy.. But do you know what, I never liked the look or sound of the four-pipe system. I always preferred the looks and the clean crisp sound of the 4 into 1. I can def recommend the delkevic system, great looking full stanless for under £300, has to be a bargain.

A bargain indeed but I would have fitted the original 4 into 2 on the Suzuki if I could have found some header pipes. Delkevic is great, though it has gone dark brown on the headers as single wall stainless pipes do.

Yes mine have gone dark straw colour on the headers, almost straight away... i like the look tbh  8)

Looks good!.. Shame they couldn’t work around the centre stand though.. does it have baffles?  it looks loud (if that’s possible)  ???

can be used without baffles, but would not recommend unless you have ear defenders   ;D
come with it.

I bought the bike and it’s not a F1 it’s a F0.1975 USA bike with 24,000 miles and in better Nick than I expected. The exhaust looks to be sound no corrosion, wheel rims look clean but rear spokes not so good, tank has been welded but I had a spare thrown in free, seat has a tear, one side cover cracked, carbs clean but out of sync starts and rides ok but rear brake cylinder needs rebuild.Very happy with it and should get it looking good by summer, may still bung a Delkevic on it as they’re so cheap.

Rob62 Delkevic looks good on your K series, just realized looking at your photo that you “lose” the c/stand,not too bothered though

If that is the one I think it is, it has the original exhaust on it which are neigh on impossible to find in good condition.

Yep if that is an original exhaust then it's a keeper, my original header fell to bits after the bike was stored for ten years, luckily I found a NOS one for a good price, my original silencer is in the loft but they too are rare.

Cheers

Dennis

Good news Dave, you can buy a Dlkevic pipe and keep your centre stand, the pipe fits perfectly without the need to remove anything (apart from the original pipe)  ;D

I have had to do repairs to my collector. Its a pity the originals were not made of stainless.

First dibs on the exhaust if you decide not to keep it please.

Delkevic ordered.Question to Rob62,will I need to buy exhaust collar seals or are they included?
Moorey, sorry will be keeping the original system but you have first dibs if I change my mind😁
My step son had a realy nice paint job done by a local painter who I will contact tomorrow, where is best place to get a good seat cover from?

Dave, unfortunately I am not familiar with the exhaust sealing arrangement on the F model.... on the K models the seals are behind the stubs and dont come in the kit... I believe the F is different, I think the pipes seal directly against the gasket? in which case I imagine that they will be provided...

According to the images for the F pipe, on delkevic’s web site, copper gaskets are included

Guy I bought the bike from told me it was a model 750 F0 but I believe it should be referred to as a 750 F. Who is correct? Not that it matters lol.

Calling it an '0' is a USA thing.

Delkevic arrived today, bit of head scratching fitting it lol. Brackets that came with it labeled as 1 bag=Zephyr 1100/CB1100F 1 bag=XJR1300/FJ1200.Only way I can see to fit it securely is to make something up.Too dark to carry on have another go tomorrow

I had to shorten one of the header pipes on mine to make it fit. Delkevic were very surprised as they say it's all done on a CNC bender. Clearly not foolproof. But they did send me a shorter spring due to the difference and £20 back for my troubles.
