CB500 four, My carbs are 649A type which run #78 main jets "Thanks for the good info Delta" I have looked on 4into1.com but they are out of stock and I would prefer a UK-European supplier if possible.

Hi again,
Looking for a UK supplier for some #78 main jets for my carbs. Thought I had sourced some but I can only get #75's from my local supplier.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Your post with the 649A reference for the 78 Main jets, helped me figure out why I couldn't get the bike to run good over 4000 rpm, was running rich and fouling the plugs, took a float bowl off and I was running 100 main jets so removed the lid off the air box and its running perfect now! new jets are on order. Thanks Delta.

A Few Questions before advice
(1) is this an imported bike and if so from where
(2) If imported do you have the customs/duty paid paperwork
(3) Is it ready for MOT

Hi Guys, was a member on here a few years ago but due to kids and stuff lost touch, I have a 1976 CB500 Four which I bought years ago and have restored over the years, I now want to get it on the road, I wrote to Honda for an age related document years ago and have that somewhere. Please can someone shead some light on the current process for getting an age related plate? last time I looked into it I got so frustrated that I just gave up! bikes been sat in garage ever since and its a real shame for it to be sat there doing nothing. Help!!!
