Honda-SOHC

Hi all,
Need some help on fork stantions lenght .
Many available on ebay but confused on size . Some say they 580 mm and others 605mm . I have not got mine out yet .
Would someone confirm proper size for models 72/76.

Could anyone advice best place to get fuses for the Honda cb fuses .

They have a particular size and I need all of them 5,7,15

I need some guidelines please

I think this subject might have been discussed many times.

 I have just upgraded my bike with an 836 Kit and when i start to accelerate bike misses out abit then ok. Also on idling its ok.

What set up carbs as in Jets and needle position and air filter would you recommend I start with ? The current jets are 40 and 105 and needle in middle.

Also from were is a good source to buy the Jets?

I would like to keep the stock air box since the bike has just been restored. Ive read that a K n high flow air filter would also help?

I know that not all engines are the same but a guidline were to start would be great.

JUst need some advice regarding a quick repair for a chain damage to a lower case on the cb 750

Is there any type of chemicals that will keep up the repair ?

Need some help in sourcing Bronze valve guides for exhaust valves of my ongoing rebuild of CB550 K0

Any body knows a source in the UK for this or in europe?

Also would need advice if only changing exhaust ones would be ok ?. The guys at the machine shop the exhaust ones are abit loose and they said its quite common on every engine that the exhaust ones are more likely to go than originals

Also would also valves need replacing with the guides?

Also he recomended to go for bronze ones.

Any help on this subject would be great !!

Hi all !! Its been a while since I posted / or more asked for some advice on here .

I hope some one can help me. with my issue ,

I have just finished my USA K6 Restoration , I did nearly all execpt open the lower end of the bike , Which I think I should have also done !! .I will post some pics later on.!!

MY Problem is that apart from the clutch rattle that these bikes make when idling I have a like a noise of a sort of gear noise when the bike is on the side stand. When then I put it straight this goes!!

Has anyone here ever experienced this? any ideas on what to look for ?

Hi All ,

Just needed to ask / more as a clarification when registering an Imported US bike in the UK As I am quite sure alot of you have been in this process?. Are you not required to have the Original American title of the bike ?

Hope fully I have my bike arriving this week  and I have the Title and Bill of sale to be able to register the bike already in my hands . When I asked the local authorities here in Malta they said not just the bill of sale is needed  but also the Title. Also on the title I have a red stamp that says   that the bike is exported .

At the moment I am interested in getting another bike a CB550 (already getting hooked !!  )and I have seen some bikes that DK has on auction on ebay and he allways states if he has or has not the title of the bike . he only states that VAT and tax has been paid and is registered on the NOVA system. I have even sent PM to them and they say its not available.

Basically after reading on internet the Title is like the Log book of the bike (v5 in the uk ?) . In US they seem to use a system were they dont have the title in hand and just issue a bill of sale . But clearly if you dont have the original Title the bike could still not be actually not yours and also on the title there are parts were there could be a possibility that a Lien is on the bike ( Lien is like a loan or other thing which the bike is used as a Guarantee ) I have attached a copy of mine which shows this 

I am not trying to raise any alarms but how is the bike then checked for the verification especially without a title ? does the UK agency check this in some way ?  After registering the bike maybe ? Does any body have any experience in trying to get a title for a US bike ?
