Hi, mine is a europen version,i clean rebuid the carbs with new keyster set and main jet std 78. The air duct cover was missing... Test and run the bike...after 4000rps was not performing...engine was running lean... Found the duct cover from ebay and fit it on bike, then test it on the road...all perfect!!! now runs smooth in all rpms!

Hi to all members I live in Greece and now own a CB500 FOUR K1. Bike was first hand and given as a gift to me. He bought it 42 year's ago but was left outside from the barn for more than 25... 2 years ago I visit his place and saw it rusting in peace...He show the desire in my eyes...and he told me..."you like it very much so take it"!!! Then story began in my garaz...disable and assembly done by me...motor work in a friend workshop. All this was a big experience,effort,cost,feeling...and a really soul travel... In a different section I will show some of it As this bike is a keeper I will be very happy to share with all.of you things about CB fours...!!!

Hi m8 got same set on Dec from cmsnl after looong wait! It was the last part to finish my restored CB. Set looks great and fitment on bike was spot on. The only problem i faced was that the position of the rubber stop for centre stand was a little forward causing the centre stand to hit the muffler when is closed. I came up with a small addaptor to put the rubber more forward...maybe my centre stand is diff... Did you fit your set?
