Title: CB550 Tank Badges.

Tank badges from a CB550F1 or a K3 will fit an F2.

Only difference is that one is finished in silver and the other is gold.

Where's my tin of gold paint...

So are you saying Dave that the F1 was silver, F2 was gold and back to silver for the K3?

Why ever would they do that?

Just checked and my K3 had gold tank badges - they matched the colour of the side panel badges.

Sorry Dave, still havent been near my "lockup" to check what i have. Sounds like the original 750 and 500 badges---they were the same except the silver/gold colour which is why you can only get 750 now

The badges on my F2 are gold but the F1 which I found in the US (which has the same part number as the K3 and the CB500) is silver.

All very strange but I now have a badge for my tank which needs a coat of paint but I'm happy.
