Now the piston has a big steel blanking washer over the centre hole and then there was a nylon washer between that and the pad. I have fitted wing pistons(all i could get at the time) which have no steel washer and they worked OK

MOT sez two separate systems and the later wings had one front disc and rear off the foot pedal and one front disc off the handlebar

Never ever retorqued a Honda after running, F2 also has dome nuts with copperised washers on some of the studs

And on the spacer don't forget to straighten out the ears that got bent when you pushed it sideways to drift th so that it sits centrale bearings out

The stem seal tends to make the valve a push fit rather than a slide out fit BUT removing any mushroom is imperative as if you just hit the valve through you will irrepairably damage the guide which are not cheap, require carefull fitting then reaming and valve seats cutting. All this is imatterial if its an F2 as they eat valve guides for a passtime!!
