Description: This is how I bought my K7.  Am going to restore to what I would describe as ride-albe so not a concourse show bike.

P.S having a right old palaver with the calipers which both need new pistons and seals.  Looks like ill be using Phenolic pistons unless anyone knows where to get some decent stainless items?

Ok so a month or so in here is whats been happening!
Top end is pretty good although the oil ring looks a bit knackered - so new rings will be sourced.  Bore in great condition - can still see the original bore marks and the pistons look like new - good old Honda!
Crankcases have a bloody great hole in the back where the chain has broken at some point.  Someone had bodged with a tin patch and chemical metal.  New crankcases on their way from cb-resteteile-123 in Freudenstadt, Germany (check him out on EBAY.DE).  So when they arrive it'll be new shell bearings, primary chains and cam chain after they've been soda blasted along with the head and barrels which someone has painted black.  Soda Blasting is being done by http://www.sw-sodablast.co.uk/Contact%20Us.htm Seems very reasonable considering how many hours of work its going to save.
I picked up a really nice condition Jardine 4 into 1 from DK Spares along with a front wheel and mudguard which have all come off a US bike.  They'll soon be at the mercy of UK weather but i'm going to try and not use the Honda when its wet!
Ill keep updating as things happen!
