DSS sells them £13 pattern obviously and may be suspect. Or at least he did, someone may have just bought 2 in which case they will be £300 now.

I bought a pattern one several years ago but it was rubbish and changed it for genuine immediately (for my UK 750K2 though)

That's good to know Phil, just before I fall into the same trap.

If it's one of those with 4 screws surrounding a big old reflector right in the middle of the lens then I definitely did have one, I kept it so that must mean it was in decent nick or it would have gone in the bin. All I have to do is find it. It was in my way for years but since doing a tidy up a year or so ago it's not where it was, I might have bunged it in the loft, I'll have a look tomorrow.

Although the tail light from my CB750F2 was removed & sold many years ago, the tail light on my CB550K3 was the same & was available from the likes of cmsnl.com

https://www.cmsnl.com/honda-cb550k3-four-england_model14671/base-taillight_33703371601/

It was also fitted to the CB750K7, but was not available seperately

Hope that this helps with the search

Still can't find mine, I remember taking the 4 screws out of it, maybe one was stripped so I threw it or maybe it will turn up when I'm not looking for it.

Just found one in my stash of bits off a 350/4 USA import .. no lens though. Will photo later if you need one still and it is indeed the type you need.

Not sure if you ever sorted this but just found 2 of these lights in a bag in the loft. Looked there as well but they were hiding real well.

Stamped Stanley HM-16RC.

Ones in pretty good shape, the other almost as good.

the lenses of mine are fine but the chrome outer is quite rusty. if yours is rust free, i would be chuffed

Trouble is I don't think your lens and mine are the same. I seem to think yours is secured by 4 screws, one in each corner but they one I have has the same 4 screws BUT they are located around the circular reflector thing in the middle. So if you got the back of mine I don't think your lens would fit. You'd need both lens and body if you get my meaning.

I'll post a pic of both of them, I think the lens are ok as well but I'll remove them to be sure.

Hang five, I'll be back  :D

Took me a while, sorry.

Here's what they look like.

We'll call this light number 1

(https://i.postimg.cc/3NHWZtzQ/IMG-2562.jpg) (https://postimg.cc/47BJfQJW)

This number 2

(https://i.postimg.cc/3rpvDvzH/IMG-2563.jpg) (https://postimg.cc/4nfdDmJ8)

Back of number 1, for some reason number 2 didn't come out. It's roughtly the same anyway

(https://i.postimg.cc/9FLF4XXh/IMG-2564.jpg) (https://postimg.cc/KRgyw2gq)

Top edge showing slight rust on number 1

(https://i.postimg.cc/P5Nf1GN8/IMG-2565.jpg) (https://postimg.cc/K1SyyHPZ)

Same top edge on number 2

(https://i.postimg.cc/rmGqqMZ7/IMG-2567.jpg) (https://postimg.cc/wyBCV8pk)

Number 2 is the better of the two.

Lens are fine, no cracks, all screws are fine, none stripped.

Let me know.
