Title: 750f2 rear light
Post by: haynes66 on February 06, 2022, 03:00:41 PM: anyone have a non rusty rear light assembly? i have a few lenses in good nick but all the bases i have are poor condition. many thanks

I bought a pattern one several years ago but it was rubbish and changed it for genuine immediately (for my UK 750K2 though)

Post by: Oddjob on February 06, 2022, 09:45:38 PM: If it's one of those with 4 screws surrounding a big old reflector right in the middle of the lens then I definitely did have one, I kept it so that must mean it was in decent nick or it would have gone in the bin. All I have to do is find it. It was in my way for years but since doing a tidy up a year or so ago it's not where it was, I might have bunged it in the loft, I'll have a look tomorrow.

Stamped Stanley HM-16RC.

Ones in pretty good shape, the other almost as good.

I seem to think yours is secured by 4 screws, one in each corner but they one I have has the same 4 screws BUT they are located around the circular reflector thing in the middle. So if you got the back of mine I don't think your lens would fit. You'd need both lens and body if you get my meaning.

I'll post a pic of both of them, I think the lens are ok as well but I'll remove them to be sure.
