I wondered about using the boots from the earlier bikes and moving the chamber forwards. Maybe making an extra ring between air filter box or modding the whole mounting.

I had a set off him for the K3 really good quality.
He was a bit reluctant to post to the UK due to a couple of bad experiences but mine arrived OK.

Typical damage from not heeding the warning when fitting the cam cover and bending valves, probably got sprocket but dont know if i have a spare head.
All 500/550 are identical by the way

Hi, has anyone got a cylinder head complete with valves and a camshaft sprocket to sell me?
My 1977 k3 was running pretty good but had a weeping head gasket. Did a compression test and had three low cylinders which I tracked down to three leaking exhaust valves. On stripping the head I had six bent valves and a broken valve guide. The teeth on the camshaft pulley are worn to sharp points so it's anyone's guess what's happened in the past.
