OK - if you think it can (and im trying to understand it) then ill get one on order....!

Edit - just to verify i can trash the relay i was using and utilize the one on the fuzebox.?

2
Not sure i understand....in that...can i not remove the one ive got and utilize the one on the fuze box?

Sorry - should have made myself clearer.....

Its really all about the Horn....all the other stuff im fine with!

Currently ive got a Denali Soundbomb but, it requires a high current draw.... so, theres a Relay that is inbetween it and the horn...

The relay has 4 pins...2 for power and 2 coming from the original loom (they went to the original horn)

So how would those 4 pins used be connected to the new fuse box?

Working on my Hypermotard 1100 evo sp at the moment....nothing bad but all good....while im fitting a new alloy subframe....over the years ive added x amount of electrical additions...

1. Optimate Trailing charging cable.
2. QS
3. Custom replacement handguard indicators with combined running lights.
4. (Today) Aux USB at the handlebars
5. Heated grips...
6. Denali soundbomb - needs its own relay.
7. GPS tracker

Renovating my old mans 400/4 taught me a shed load about motorcycle electrics (and Roo's very polite but dogged persistance!) but probably only about 5% of all of it (my guess) - any way ive decided to get one of those fuseboxes....notably this one

https://www.nippynormans.com/fuse-panels/fuzeblock-switchable-fuse-panel

My main question is, on there, theres a relay - can i utilize that for the soundbomb? and if i could how would i integrate the 4 wires from the current relay (2 for the switch) and i think 2 for the power. Or, does the fusebox relay (not work that way).

Look forward to anyone that can throw a bit of light on the subject - if you can...i know its not Honda stuff but i would say kinda generic...

Ok - so the carbs are out at the moment....yesh - see the screw at the bottom of the float bowl....without putting it all back together yes the float bowl was filling up as the overflow pipe was leaking...what next!?

Edit - well i got it working....ive kinda got an idea of what it was but it may not be....

took the float bowl off (3rd time) took that little jet out behind the float bowl the long one with the two holes in it - but this time put a very thin bit of wire down there.....it didnt go all the way through (im not sure if it should or, shouldnt) and then re-assembled...i did also the other day add in the fuel additive stuff so not sure if that helped....

Anyway it started really quickly....literally a push and instant start...most responsive yet. Next would be for one of you guys (who ive met) just to listen to see if its needs further fettling!

Thanks to everyone that chipped in!

Work on the carbs has stalled a bit...was waiting for some float bowl gaskets which i got last night....set the float height (22mm) - re assembled carbs still no fire on no3....is it the jet underneath the float/tang thing thats blocked??

I was having a clean out in the garage over the weekend and realized that i still have the original exhaust system...but as with all of them the bottom of the tail pipe has rusted away...the headers while a little corroded are fine - if i got them rechromed theyd be like new. For the tailpipe i wondered if it was worth taking it to an exhaust builder to refurb it...or is it not worth it...purely just to restore it for the sake of it...? (ive got a stainless motad system on mine which will stay on there)

Thoughts..?

Took a rusty set of DiD's off of mine...it was cheaper (when i was renovating ) to buy a set of alloy Rims and stainless spokes. At the time rechroming the original rims cost twice as much as the alloy rims and spokes...
