Does anyone recall the name of the bike garage in Trinity Lane Beverley? Probably closed in the early 90's. It was a classic old workshop/ shed - I used to get oil and other bits from them. It's all houses now....for yuppies...

I had my RD350LC checked after a crash years ago. The technique was the same - front end off but engine / swing arm and rear wheel etc in. Would all dereference be taken from the back of the frame/ cranckcases....assuming they held it all square? This isn't the company I used, but talks about the reference/alignment from swing arm pivot and headstock. https://hbmotorcycles.co.uk/products-and-services/frame-alignment/

..so does the person whose dad owned the bike originally now own it? Or do they just now know where it is?!

Some nice work going on there.
Locking petrol cap looks the same as my old cb900f - I wonder if it is the same part (and yes, I could look at a parts list, but it's a pain on a phone!).🙂

Long bolts? On my first 500/4 (which was a bit of a mongrel with a non-standard/Comstar front end), I had long disc bolts and put them in the wrong way round so they fouled and cracked the speedo drive.
Being young, silly, unaware...etc..I didn't think why it was cracked, just replaced it and soon found it cracked again. I think in the end I replaced ithe drive four times before I worked out why!

Looking good . I like your headlight/screen brackets - did you make/mill them?
