No, they are from Legend Motorcycles. Nice price too currently at £58.45 can't really lose! ;D

My shockers have a chromed shield on the top section - not sure if they are original or have been replaced in the past mine is a 1978(S) plated version.

I had a pair like that on mine when I first got her, but like many other parts they needed changing. This her from the we-sell-classic-bikes site. They are not original no, but if you like them you can get a pair on Ebay. Don't like them myself.

These are mine are they not an original design?

Beautiful customising! But no not original shocks. Here is Honda's own pic (?) of the model. OK, that is the USA model but see the CMSL diagram....ditto!

This is what threw me, mine are working ok so only if they leak or fail will I change them for more genuine looking ones. This seller specifies 317 mm pin/fork as opposed to 315 mm for the more original looking ones.

The ones I've just fitted are also 315mm pin/fork but I've had to put some washers in for spacers, there was play. :( Blimey, this started as humour thread? Maybe it should be transferred!
-
Are you talking about fitting washer at the top mount for alignment or the lower fitting where it clamps to the swing arm?
I had to do some spacing at the top using some washers a member (allankelly1) made for me in SS.
-
Where it fits to the swing arm.
-
Does your bottom mount have a threaded plate attached or is it a nut & bolt fitting?
-
It seems to be threaded without the plate. Whatever, tomorrow it goes into workshop to have a new oil pump seal ( missing from the seal kit I got for the rebuild I had) I'll persuade the mechanic to get me sorted. ;)
