A little late to catch all the summer rain but I've finally finished reconditioning and repainting my Honda CB350F.

I've replaced
Chain and sprockets
Swinging arm bushes
Swinging arm pivot pin
Rear spring dampers
Rear brake shoes
Rear wheel bearings
Steering head bearings
Fork legs (re-chromed)
Fork seals
Front wheel bearings
Master cylinder internals
Front caliper seals
Brake hoses
Brake pads
Regulator/rectifier
Flasher unit
Battery
Front indicators and stalks
Pattern exhausts
OEM headlamp and shell
OEM ignition switch location
and I've repainted the tank, side panels, fork shrouds and the headlamp shell.
It's not the Honda Custom Bacchus Olive. I wasn't keen on that. It's Rover British Racing Green Metallic.
Originally the headlamp shell was black but I think it looks better in the same colour as the rest of the bodywork.

Well done, that's looking great! The average Joe public wouldn't know it wasn't a factory paint colour, it really suits it. So get out and have some fun on it, I'm sure it will draw a crowd wherever you go!

You've made a goid job of that. What sort of paint did you use on the tank, rattle cans or something else?

No. I took my life in my hands and did it in 2k primer, polyester base coat and 2k clear coat.
The gold stripes are paint not vinyl graphics.
The gold was sprayed on to the primer then the stripes were masked off and the green sprayed over the top.
When the tape was removed the whole lot was clear coated.

I'm glad you used 2K rather than cellulose. It looks more professional than cellulose. I'm going to spray the K75 when I get around to it (probably next year, too much on at the mo) I know it's toxic and all that, any advice for us?

I'm not recommending this in any way but I sprayed all the bits just inside my garage with the door wide open and paused to breathe fresh air regularly.
Remember it's isocyanates not cyanide as some clowns on the internet keep repeating. Isocyanates are harmful in quantity but nothing like cyanides which are fatal in small parts per million.
The drawback is that things tend to fall or fly into the paint but it all flats out and polishes up in the end.
Also beware the dry spray from 2k clear lacquer. It sticks like glue wherever it lands. I've had to T-Cut my glasses.

I don't recommend breathing anything in when spraying anything always wear the right sort of respirator.
I spray a lot of water based paints at work sometimes between 30 and 40 gallon a day it can make you pretty sick.
Not that you will use that much in the garage at home
