-1 on that one .....  Lots of Hondas like the CB750 use 3.5mm Bullets not 3.9 and they are much  rarer. I used to get those plus the Hitachi 6.3mm blade connectors (eg CB750 Alternator plug & socket) and glossy silver and black PVC sleeving from Vintage Connections in the States but I placed an order a few weeks back and he cancelled my order as I don't think he ships here any more BUT he pointed me to another place PLUS ...  I found the 3.5mm bullets in Hong Kong Mega cheap and no customs charges.

http://vintageconnections.com/  (cancelled my order)

Here are the 3.5mm bullets and they are good quality and fast delivery. they are not tin plated but neither were the originals or the ones from vintageconnections.

A lot of pattern coils are much lower resistance than standard so if you are using points they can be taking up to double the standard current which will reduce points life considerably. To be the same as stock Honda they should by typically around just less than  5 Ohms primary  DC resistance. Same basic coil on all SOHC 4's

The OEM coils on my CB350F were 4 ohm and the replacements from DS were only 2 ohm. While this is workable, if not desirable, with contact breakers it is unacceptable with some electronic ignitions. Boyer Bransden specify 4 ohms minimum.

I ended up wiring ballast resistors in series with the power supply to each coil.

Cant understand why DS are selling these coils if they are no good. Just purchased a couple from DS and put them on my cb350f. I'm still running points, will they be okay or should I bin them ?
