No, that's incorrect. From the relevant legislation:
"Only emergency vehicles can be fitted with blue flashing lights, or anything that looks like a blue flashing light, whether working or not."

Your correct about the blue light. Your not legally allowed to have any blue light on a roadworthy vehicle. Even the cruisers with blue LED's under the car get booked. Maybe don't wire it up.

Wired or not, you will get booked for having a blue light fitted when driven on the road.

You won't be disappointed with it. Good choice and fits perfectly. 👍

I can recommend the one below. Fantastic and the same beam pattern as a standard H4. Pricey at £33.00 but passed an MOT with it fitted and transformed the headlight on my CX500.

Link takes you to a bulb that is £65, that's inflation for you.

That's for a pair. Use the drop down box and select one and the price changes. 👍

Any oil will bring it back as will heat. The plastic is oil based and the top layer dries out. Heating brings the oil up to the surface as does adding oil on a cloth.

It would seem as if he may have recourse. Check out the list of things they say they check at the bottom of this page:

The shame of it all is that most of the overpriced bikes will never see tarmac. There seems to be a view that anything with an ICE will be worth a packet in 20 years time.

Heat the casing gently below the pin. As the oil expands it will push the pin out.

Spark erosion will work. Search to see if there's anywhere near you.

Alternatively, a good welder may be able to weld a bolt onto what's left?

I think the yellow would look great with the blue and gold.

I think that the OP would like someone to do a drive past or call there and see if the business is still trading? Maybe someone here lives close by and could help him out?
