I have a couple of CB125Ss, and a CG125, and am always on the lookout for Honda CB125 single stuff.
Look what I just scored. ;D

Seller is mystified why it didn't sell for more, but obviously has a sense of humour, because he's just said he'll accept cash if I think I can carry it all in one go.
Coo. A whole spare engine. I fancy doing something silly like putting a big bore kit in it. Does anyone do them still, for the 122cc singles?
-
I don't know if anybody still does them (but I see that 180cc kits are available for the CG125).
In 1976, my room-mate at Uni bought a bored out 180cc CB125S. I can't remember the name of the supplier - it was somewhere in London I think.
It was a nightmare. Multiple engine failures. There was so little metal left around the bore that it's a wonder the poor thing ever went at all!

Jock Kerr Developments possibly ...Other disasters sleeved down to 250cc-- 400/4, CB250N Superdream converted to 125cc with blanked off bore with plastic inside it? All to get round the learner rider laws.

That's it Ash.
Jock Kerr.
What a disaster...

And who remembers his turbo kits, and Dynaflow exhausts? And his ball bearing Honda cam conversions (mostly for CB250G5s)?
And his exchange re-con engine service (the emphasis being on the second syllable of 're-con')?
-
Sammy Miller TL125 big bore still available - 150cc???
-
Think i still have a Jock Kerr catalogue somewhere, as one of the 125's used same pistons as 500 and you can get a 750 piston in a 500 that should give you 500,550,750 options for rebore

Engine turned out to be a CG125, missing alternator (that side of engine not depicted!) so was not a runner as claimed, and with a buggered crank end. Under the circumstances leaving neutral feedback was kind.

Clean it ....stick a lamp holder in the top and sell it as a desk lamp......probably get 500 quid in London for it...
