Hi Stewsue Glad you found one there is nothing better than an old Honda.I'm seriously considering selling my Aprilia to make room for another one.
If it's the bike I saw the other week at DS Very nice I have never seen a crap bike leave there yet.He is a bit of a 400/4 Nut :D. There seems to be a different selection of bikes there almost weekly I walked through the parts warehouse and wanted to fill my pockets ;D  one day I will remember to take my camera.

I was considering these tyres to replace the IRC 11's that I have at the moment as I prefer ribbed tyres on a classic you use the RB2 on the front and the K112 on the rear. The IRC tyres are surprisingly good plenty of peg down action but no one seems to stock them in the UK

I tend to buy them as a kit they normally come with JT front sprockets and cheap steel rear sprockets.Busters quite often do good deals

Well I used it for work today a round trip of 115 miles the speedo is out of whack again and I had forgotten how much noise the cam chain makes and the throttle seems a bit stiff so replacement cables are on order apart from that she runs spot on.I had a great ride even though it is a boring trip plenty of people waving and putting there thumbs up

Hi Bitsa
I have a DID O ring chain and have done nearly 1500 miles on it and have not had to adjust or oil it yet  :)  and anyone that has seen me going up and down the A12 & A14 will know I don't hang around. X ring chains are even better I never had to oil the chain on the Triumph  and that lasted 13000 miles the chain was still fine but the sprockets were totally shot

You don't need much play in the stand to get massive lean angles The bolt hole on my dads trophy is less than a thou over size and you have to place a two inch block under it to raise the bike to were it should be.Don't forget to check the condition of the bolt they can where quite a bit.

It's only taken five months to repair but I got the bike back today just need the time to use her now
I had forgotten what it was like to ride she's a big old girl with almost nonexistent brakes but so much more rewarding than my Triumph

Hi Bitsa good to see you found it.
It funny I've been using the Triumph the last couple of weeks and had exactly the same thing
I noticed oil on my boot looked at the back of the engine to find oil over everything :o So I decided it was the rocker cover gasket so I striped the bike down thinking it was going to an easy fix only to find I had to drop the engine so no biggie remove rad, exhaust and a couple engine mount bolts whats hard about that.So with the luck I have it goes wrong almost instantly I undone a couple of studs with ease the third one ping snapped instantly So a trip to the dealers.I come back seal the rocker cover place the engine back in and ping the engine mount bolt striped it's thread. So two days later back down the dealers come back push the bolt in I can't find a nut to fit ??? anyway I've used it this week no leaks until to day I pulled away it's like a two stroke blue smoke so just pulled it apart again to find the air filter box full of oil so a bit of head scratching I noticed oil drip from the crankcase breather BINGO found it the breather seal split.

Regards Thread hijacker  ;D
