He has only had one failure caused by mounting in a bad place so the box filled with water after more than a year which he repaired free, i would happily use one along with a nos honda points plate

Hello hello!

I use it. It is a very robust box, simple installation and efficient. (recommended by Roo o/)
I will keep doing the timing adjustment as I've learned to like it.

Do you have any doubts about the need or setup?

Its not the head you need to skim but the barrel so as to reduce the depth of the recess for O ring by 3 to 5 thou.
I did once think aboutputting a small shim in the recess but getting an accurate sized shim that thin did not appear easy

What actual model is it and where is the ignition switch now?

More than likely, cue Bryan, Ash, Ken; Oo, sorry

Isn’t there a link on the classic octane site for a slot into the loom 4 way key barrel, I’m sure there is but you may need to list the videos and go to the links on each one to see but I’m sure there’s a link, maybe a hamazon link.

I went through a nightmare around DS aftermarket gasket set tring to fix an oil leak.

I ended up using the aftermarket O rings along with a proper Honda OEM gasket plus having head skimmed.

As many have said the relative thickness of head gasket and O rings is critical to getting a oil tight seal.

Yeah Motogadget was just a step toofar financially for me, I keep thinking 'cheap build remember, cheap build'  🤣

I'm sure an electrical genius will answer my query

Looking at the wiring diagrams I seems the 4 wire switch has two browns linked into one, I wonder if its as simple as doing that?
