Title: CB550f1 petcock to carb fuel line routing
Post by: orangepeelneil on April 12, 2017, 08:23:20 PM
Hi everyone,

I'm replacing the perished fuel lines on my 550f1 and bought some cloth covered lines.

The routing from twin petcock outlet to carbs seems tight and I can't seem to get it good without crimping it.

I stilll need to cut to length.

Any ideas?, Does anyone have any photos a nice routing example?.

Cheers neil

Oh boy, I'm afraid you've routed them wrong. They have to go through a special hole in the carbrack frame more or less opposite the nipples of the T-joints. Means you have to go through the process of sliding them over those nipples again, that is after you have routed them through those holes. Length for tube to carb 3+4 should be 28 cm, for tube to carb 1+2 17 cm. Ideal ⌀ is 5,5 mm.
