Hello......have a look on US eBay and get a 350F one, they sell for less than a 400 would here but work perfectly.

I can see from your pic you also have what looks like a set of Koni rear shocks. Those can be refurbed,I did mine they share the same internals as car shocks mine only needed a new O ring and oil change. A good polish and they are as good as new. Cheers....Dave 35
New Member Introductions / Re: New member« on: March 22, 2017, 09:03:55 PM »Hi Dave Good choice Tony.....I have the original spoked wheels but the cast ones are my first choice. They cost me 50 quid new from a shop via eBay during my restoration what a steal! I've had my 400 since 1980 and at the time a new set of cast wheels was more than the cost of a second hand bike! Cheers....Dave 36
New Member Introductions / Re: New member« on: March 22, 2017, 08:08:43 PM »Pretty sure they are aftermarket, I have seen similar ones fitted before to 400's but don't know the make (maybe ERA?)..... I bought a set for my 400 they are made by A.R.E.I was very close. Right letters, just wrong order! Close but no cigar! Nice wheels I think, but purists don't seem so keen. Cheers......Dave 37
New Member Introductions / Re: New member« on: March 21, 2017, 07:46:30 PM »Hi all The dealer bikes never had those wheels fitted but Honda set up a race series in the U.K. using Japanese 400's that have a 398cc engine and those wheels where fitted to those machines and available as aftermarket parts for sale to people who wanted to fit them to a road bike. I read this information after I bought a set for my 400 they are made by A.R.E. Cheers....Dave 38

My 400 has a rubber block that stops the stand hitting it. I think I got it from DSS it was not included in my full exhaust system along with a few other bits.

CB350/400 / Re: 400/4 Tool Kit« on: March 26, 2016, 09:14:47 PM »Did the original have a spoke key !! I never got one in the tool kit that came with my bike, but I have one now. I don't use the spoke wheels I found some cast wheels to use, Honda missed a trick not fitting them from the factory I think....cheers 40

CB350/400 / Re: 400/4 Tool Kit« on: March 07, 2016, 08:14:13 PM »Sorry for the delay Dave, been meaning to get this done for you. Here's mine, I believe original. Screwdriver handle is black. Thanks For the photo Tom, I'm just putting a tool kit together for my bike but I'm sure the screwdriver handle the bike had when I bought it in 1980 was a maroon'ish colour. I'm thinking the black ones (I have one of both now) are a more modern replacement. The maroon one seems to be made a bit better to me....Cheers Dave 42

I'm sure that plug is rubber formed over a metal cup, I remember it was not very flexible when I replaced it during my 400 engine rebuild....it will probably be a job and a half putting a new one in and not deforming it.

Has anybody got a photo of an original complete tool kit? I'm missing one or two bits and the parts diagram is a bit vague....cheers
