Title: First Ride Out
Post by: ace cafe racer on August 28, 2019, 08:28:58 PM: Well took the old girl out for first time (for me) tonight. Well impressed with pulling power and handling. Only problem found on this run was a lot of popping from exhaust on overrun.

Braking seems OK, but then again I am used to drum brakes lol. will have to look into that as front brake cylinder is seeping despite a new rebuild kit being installed. Wheel is 19 which I believe is larger than standard, Disc is 12 inch diameter is that needing to be larger? It does look smaller in the photo I must admit.

thanks, so is the disc needing to be larger? if so what size disc do I need.

Post by: Trigger on August 28, 2019, 10:32:19 PM: I would stick with what you have as, it is not a case of just change the disc. You will need a disc, caliper and a brake arm .
