I did this years ago and found out (to the detriment of my wallet) how hard it was to rebuild. 18

The donor for my 500 was a written off blue 550F2, my mate had the maroon one and I really liked that colour as well.wish I could take the credit for it but it’s one of grahams master pieces all I’ve done is swapped the stainless motad and put a few miles on it really love riding it 23

Managed to get a decent genuine exhaust for my f2 not that there was anything wrong with the stainless motad but I think this just finishes off nicely what was already a cracking bike thanks Trigg and Dave

A dust spring on the top side and the oil spring on the underside.not sure what you mean by spring top and bottom but they were the same as the old ones I took out apart from the extra 2mm in depthI’ve fitted these seals to my 550 they’re 13mm deep instead of 11mm so fills that gap up by another 2mm 29
