Looks good, what year is the TR?
Is that an "architect" Saab in background? One within clamshell bonnet?

Yep great car had Saab's for many years.
I think the triumph was a 1961 from memory.

If the front forks, brake and balanced exhaust pipes are original then it will be either a 1969 or 1970.

Not original I am afraid built from a box of bits and scrap yard finds back in the day ;D Yours look good, wish I still had mine.

It was definitely not a 61 as that would have been a pre-unit, so at least a 63 on when they went unit construction.

If your into triumphs these any good? I think they are from a T120 but could be wrong.

Seeing as a few of you harp back to owning a 60's Triumph TR6 bike, does anyone fancy a 1967, 68, 69 or 1970 Triumph T120/ TR6 Project (a proper Project where you have all the hard to find parts but then have to source/ collect the easy bits and build it over the Winter.....freezing cold Garage/ Shed, cups of tea going cold before you get round to drinking them, going down the PO Sorting office to pick up the parts that were delivered but nobody was in, forgetting what your Wife/ Partner and Kids look like as you work on the Project every waking hour when you are not at work - get the picture ?).
I have far too many such Triumph Projects so PM me if you fancy one yourself.
Genuine people only please. If you have no money, no skills, no real appreciation of what these bikes are worth or no basic common sense, please leave me alone as I can get a bit 'tetchy' when encountering dickheads - which does not help my high blood pressure.
I'm happy to help you in your choice of Project, with advice, guidance, best value sources of supply etc etc......all FOC to any interested parties.
I live near Blackpool if you want to come and see my bits (steady now, steady) and the kettle is always on.

I'm still working on a mate to buy a project from you, I've even offered to build it for him but he's busy restoring his money pit of an Alpine at the moment to think about it.
Your first paragraph made me laugh, I think that's true of every rebuild, you finish restoring the bike and are forced to sell it to pay for the divorce!
