Thanks for the replies guys, brilliant advice.
2&3 cylinders had stopped firing swapped condensers but it made no difference swapped leads on coils and plugs an 2&3 fired immediately, I assumed it was the coil never thought of the lead or cap. 4

Hi
Has anybody got Classic bike breakdown cover and if so which company do you use. I want it for my 76 550 f1 supersport but can't get any cover off the big companies because of the age of the bike. 12

Hi
Thanks for the suggestion, I have found a set of videos on YouTube from a guy in Texas. He works with these old Hondas and the business name is Classic Octane. He has a full strip and rebuild film and a balancing film, can't recommend these enough for anyone starting out working on these bikes 13

Hi I've been having problems with a sticking slide so I am rebuilding the carbs and when I have removed the linkages one of the little trumpets that sit inside the spring and drops into the connecting arm is missing , it's above the spring in the picture. Please can anyone tell me where I can source this part or has anyone got one that I can buy. The rebuild kit mixture screw is different to the original as it has a solid shaft, whereas the original is drilled up the center and has a hole in the shift, should I refit the original.? 15
