Rummaging around in the garage pretending to look for the tree (shh its in the loft ;D) I just found a satin heat shield for a pre k1 750. :D
Handy if someone wants to match the finish

Nope, the strange thing with those heat shield's were that they were satin chrome i was informed. Have seen them in aluminum, which is easier to get the finish.

Are you okay Bitsa, the other week you said some pattern parts were okay, after being rabidly against them, now you're saying D.S. price was reasonable, what next? Oxy acetelene on your downpipes to turn them blue, and possibly ace bars and full race fairing and lairy paint job?:)):)):))

Guess I have given in to the inevitable but have to say not stopped laughing since I read all the replies.DS prices are weird at the mo cheap you think turn out to be expensive and then its the other way round don't make sense.By the way the only thing going blue is me with all this wet damp cold weather exhausts definitely NOT.
