Hi teenybop1. Excellent humour from the forum! However, I'd like to keep them with the bike as part of the sale. I did buy them and the rack in period and so they're part of the deal. My learner school bike had some (not as nice looking) but I thought it was a good idea to get some of my own. Sorry! I'm hoping the New Year will generate some new interest as I really want it all to go to a new home: I'm just not riding it and someone else needs to start enjoying it.

Hi Ted. Yes the 33 miles are on the same clocks over the last eleven years. Ten of those miles were ridden by Chris at the bike shop when he did a shakedown run prior to getting the MOT sorted earlier this year!! The Yamaha clocks were on the bike when I bought it way back when. I stripped an old CJ250T years ago and took the clocks off that in case I wanted to put it back to its original style clocks. I recommissioned it years ago with a view to riding it then, but as the mileage shows, that didn't happen. I ended up storing it at the back of the garage and putting it on a SORN.

FOR SALE My Honda CB400F - SALE £3500 Owned for 27 years, but I just don’t ride it any more so it needs a new owner. Registered for Historic Tax. MOT until May 2024 (one advisory, now fixed). Includes 2 keys, a Honda Owners manual and a Haynes Workshop manual. It has electronic ignition, but I still have the original backplate. Included is a period chrome rack and a set of original Honda clocks (I think the ones on it are from a Yamaha). I recommissioned it last Winter and the bike shop did the rest to get it through an MOT. For sale £3,500 ono

I rode past my old childhood home recently and on a whim, I turned round and knocked on the door. I asked the people who lived there if they wouldn't mind if I had a look at my old bedroom. They said no and shut the front door on me. Parents can be so cruel sometimes.....

Hi folks. Like a few people before me I've joined in order to sell my 400F. I'm not usually one for joining forums but I have dipped in here from time to time for advice so thanks everyone for that. I've owned the bike for 27 years - it was the first one I bought after passing my test. I've had some moderns in between but couldn't let this one go. I think I'm going to miss it, but I just don't ride it anymore so it needs to go to a good home. Please point me to the classifieds page! Cheers.
