CB750 / Kehin floatbowl spring clip
« on: December 22, 2008, 07:01:26 PM »
Well I'm most of the way through polishing my carbs and had a small propblem.

Whilst doing the spring clips that swing round and secure floatbowls to the bottom of the carbs, one dug into the buffing wheel and 'twang' straight across the garage.

Can I find it? Can I hell. I have looked everywhere.

So does anyone have one that I can buy please?

Not worried about condition as they clean up very nice with coke cola and a good buffing wheel.

Cheers

CB750 / WP Suspension - Air shocks
« on: December 22, 2008, 06:57:06 PM »
Hi there, when I bought my 73 CB750, I also recieved these WP shocks.
Not sure what to do with them and I am not 100% on whether they will suit the bike.
Does anyone know if they are any good? Or also if I decide not to fit them, are they worth much?

Also got this tank with petcock, it will need a re spray, what are these worth? I need to sell a few things to pay for the repair in the race tank and frame repaint.

Thanks for your help.

CB750 / Bits needed for a rebuild
« on: December 11, 2008, 07:13:47 PM »
Hi there I have just started stripping my 73 CB750 Seeley replica.

I have been looking around and have found most parts online. However I have a couple that I have drawn a blank on. If anyone knows where I can get them please can you let me know?

Bits needed.
- Finned generator cover plate
- Churchgate fairing screen
- The best rear sets to use in conjunction with the original 4 into 4 pipes (not shown in these pics).

Also I would like some advice on getting the aluminium fuel tank repaired. It needs a couple of dents knocking out and also some tarmac gouges sorting out so I need a decent tank repairer who can weld aluminium. Any advice would be great please?

I have started polishing up one of the carbs and it is lokking pretty good, however would soaking them in coka cola speed up the process? Or even Cilit Bang? Then spraying them with Carb cleaner. I have phoned around but it seems that Yamaha Carb Cleaner is no longer stocked.

Thank you in advance.
