CB750 / Lead Replacement Additive
« on: July 24, 2009, 05:53:12 PM »
What do you chaps use as a fuel additive lead replacement.
I've been using Castrol Valvemaster, but was wondering if there was a more convenient product?

CB750 / Cleaning up the Rear
« on: July 22, 2009, 09:31:09 PM »
Not done a great deal to the CB, just cleaned-up the rear end a bit

and been trying the can for size...

The plan is to eventually (when the mot runs out) build something in the style of the old superbike racer - a bit like this...

Obviously, I won't be racing the old girl, so there will be no need for huge brakes and all the other high-spec hardware of this beauty. It's the feel and look that I'll be trying to achieve.

CB750 / Welding Tank
« on: July 01, 2009, 07:51:28 PM »
Hi,
I have a spare K7 tank and want to smooth the top and fit a monza typr cap. Need to mig a piece across the aperture where the lockable flap now sits. Any tips on ensuring the tank is safe to weld  :-\

It hasn't had fuel in for yonks and seems free of fumes. What to do??

CB750 / New Front End?
« on: June 25, 2009, 06:44:34 AM »
Hi All,
I know this question has prob been asked many time before so apologies for that, but I intend to fit a twin disc front end to my CB750K7 and I need some advice on what to fit. TBH, I'm not too bothered about keeping everything 'Honda', as I guess as long as the length is similar and the diameter at the yokes is the same - all should go together nicely - is this true?

Cheers
