I've seen various illustrated write up's on it in the 'comics'.....looks very useful for smaller items....air-compressor & a 'drawn-feed' into the path of the air providing the abrasive.  As I recall they used 'off-the -shelf' Arm & Hammer 'soda' ?

I think Wyldes ? up at Leeds do re-builds.....Central Wheel's do, but have a mixed reputation lately......Hagon's as mentioned.
I think a lot of the 'builders' use Central Wheels 'stock'.

I notice you are in Tewkesbury, I'm over in Cheltenham. Would the local fixing supplier be Probolt on Northway Trading estate?

Hi Mark - I use a Allfast.....they are indeed on Northway, sort of place where if you go in for 1 bolt, they often provide them 'gratis' once they know your face.

Doubtless you know about them already, but Mayday Bearings at Swindon Village - turn by Skellern's - or the Sex Shop dependent on your interests ! are the business for any seals or bearings.

+ there is Bryan on this Forum who is local to us at Gloucester who is the 'biz' for knowing "how to" & "how it should" all go together.

There's almost enough of us for a "Branch" now !

I use a Fixings supplier on the Local Trading Estate....having provided the sizes from the Fiche pages. At the prices quoted....probably as easy to get them from CMS or Silvers ?

Not sure how far you intend to go with the Dyna S...but if you have a mind to go for the whole package....& depending on how the Exchange rate sit's at the point when you do it, it may be cheaper to buy from the States....or if you are the cheeky sort, use that to get a discount on a set-up from the Uk.
There is a chap who sells via Ebay (US Ebay) who even inc' of p & p may be cheaper than the Uk supplier if you are buying the coils & plugs set too.

Sold "off Ebay" & ended early....according to the Sandcast Forum......+ a very entertaining Babal Translate rebuttal by the Italian chap of the slightly tetchy comments on the sale listing.

Obviously a very much "better off" man this lovely Sunday afternoon, Riccardo was probably right.....it did just bump up the ante....

If it's an 'import'....which presumably it is (below link proves, you should never presume anything).....it may be 'manufactured' earlier, & then "First Reg'd" as a 'B' after being brought into the Country.  Google info & the V5 should help.

My '76 F1 is on a '78 'T' plate.....they were so popular in their day it sat in the showroom unsold for 2 years  :o ::) ???, my wife's U.S. model '88 VTR250 is on a 1991 plate having been imported unregistered & my import CB-1 was an '89 bike on a later plate too having been brought in from the States at about 3 years old still in the "crate".

I'm not sure if it's relevant, or if there is much you can do about it either way, but the Motad I took off my CB750 recently had split around a couple of the flange's where it sits in the recess up against the head.

Can't be the only one in the world to have done it, I'm guessing.

It could be the way it was "encouraged" to fit as it wasn't particularly untidy otherwise.

The other way is if you know a friendly police person who would do a stolen vehicle check on the frame number. Part of the search result is the engine and reg number for that frame. This is now much harder as the reason for the search needs to be logged.

Indeed....it does, & if they get caught, they will almost certainly get the sack, if not prosecuted into the bargain.....so they need to be a very good friend !
Every check leaves a 'footprint' & there are teams of Data Protection staff looking for such activity.  Some of them don't even realise their liability, such is the calibre of internal communications, so probably best avoided nowadays.

.....the F2 Tacho faces are the same on all 3 bikes, I think....the F1's are different ?  The F2 ones, with the higher 'red' line ( & the blue/black faces)........
