What do you chaps use as a fuel additive lead replacement.
I've been using Castrol Valvemaster, but was wondering if there was a more convenient product? Cheers Steve 3
CB750 / Cleaning up the Rear« on: July 22, 2009, 09:31:09 PM »
Not done a great deal to the CB, just cleaned-up the rear end a bit
and been trying the can for size... The plan is to eventually (when the mot runs out) build something in the style of the old superbike racer - a bit like this... Obviously, I won't be racing the old girl, so there will be no need for huge brakes and all the other high-spec hardware of this beauty. It's the feel and look that I'll be trying to achieve. 5

Yes, Im in the same situation as you, it seems. My K7 has the ubiqitous (spelling?) Motad fitted, and like you I'm after a slightly more invigourating sound from the pipe! As I'm 'remodelling' my 750 a bit, I'm happy to deviate from the standard look of this already handsome machine Anyhow, this is my solution: I plan to mig up a short link pipe from the Motad 4-1 headers and mount this Arrow can high-level. No doubt I'll post some pics as the project progresses. Not sure how my neighbours will react though Reagrds Steve 6

CB750 / Welding Tank« on: July 01, 2009, 07:51:28 PM »
Hi,
I have a spare K7 tank and want to smooth the top and fit a monza typr cap. Need to mig a piece across the aperture where the lockable flap now sits. Any tips on ensuring the tank is safe to weld It hasn't had fuel in for yonks and seems free of fumes. What to do?? Steve 9

Rode my new peoject back fom Chippenham to Reading last evening. Rides very well for a 30yearold piece of technology. It's a hell of a change from my duke M900 that I last owned - must add a big-disc front end to the shopping list
But all in all, it rides very well. It currently has a full height touring fairing fitted, wich looks very cool, in a retro kind of way. But it's coming OFF this evening, as soon as I can get my spanners on it! Regards Steve 11
CB750 / New Front End?« on: June 25, 2009, 06:44:34 AM »
Hi All,
I know this question has prob been asked many time before so apologies for that, but I intend to fit a twin disc front end to my CB750K7 and I need some advice on what to fit. TBH, I'm not too bothered about keeping everything 'Honda', as I guess as long as the length is similar and the diameter at the yokes is the same - all should go together nicely - is this true? Cheers Steve 12
