I've just had RFL reminder through for my 400, its 58 squids, is that right?. It's more than I pay for the bloody bike insurance which is Fully Comp any bike any size. When does the classic excemption come in ?

Misc / Open / Sintered pads

Hi Chaps

Has anyone who has fitted sintered front pads noticed much difference? Have overhauled the front calliper which really needed doing so I'm sure the breaking will feel a bit better anyway but not sure if I should fit standard pads or sintered.

CB350/400 / 400/4 swing arm bushes

Hi Experts.
I'm about to try and get the swinging arm bushes out, they look like brass and I'm replacing them with new brass one's. I'm sure I read on here somewhere the best way to get the old one's out is to cut them with a hacksaw.Before I start is there anything I need to be careful of or look out for?.

A friend of mine has a 2001 Yamaha R1 (one of many bikes he has but sorry, no Hondas, idiot !!!)which runs like a bag of S**T at idling speed. Before he rips the carbs off have any of you ever used something like Seafoam, or similar and if you have which product was it and was it any good.

Hi All

Just been for a great ride on the Honda 400/4. Starts really easily, rides great, runs great except when the engine is hot she won't tick over. Revs just go down and down and down and then cuts out.Ticks over fine when cold. Any simple solutions most welcome. Anything more than simple will have to wait till off the road in winter !!

Just gone back to a 1978 400/4 from a CBR 600. Have been riding bikes 35+ years and still can't get it out of my system
.(Never grown up !!). Wanted something a bit slower these days. I've been told this is the Forum to be in and I'm sure I will need your help and advice in the future.
